Welcome to the New VUESC and District Websites

Dear Valley Families, Staff, and Community Members,

I am pleased to share that the Valley Unified Education Service Center has launched a new website at www.vuesc.org, along with new websites for each of our three districts:

Each of our schools also has its own page, linked from the "Schools" menu on every site. The St. John Valley Technology Center is included as well.

Our goal with this project was simple. Families should be able to find what they need quickly, whether they live in Fort Kent, Madawaska, Frenchville, St. Agatha, or anywhere else in the Valley. A parent checking a calendar, a community member reviewing board minutes, or someone looking for a job with us should not have to search through several places to find it.

What you will find

  • A mobile app. Use the "Stay Connected" section to download our free app for iPhone or Android. It brings school news, calendars, and updates to your phone.  Search for VUESC in the App Store or Google Play and look for the the Valley Unified icon: 
Once downloaded, toggle your favorite school or district do access up-to-date information on the app.
  • Translation and search. Every page can be translated into French or Spanish, and a site search helps you find information fast. If you would like other languages added, please reach out!
  • Board transparency. Board meeting dates, agendas, minutes, videos, policies, and current board representatives are now in one place.
  • Everyday tools. Quick links to PowerSchool, district calendars, and open positions are easy to reach from any page.

A shared look, a shared identity

You will notice that the sites share a common design and the new Valley Unified logo, which features the owl, the pioneer, and the warrior. Our districts keep their own proud traditions, and we also share one purpose: serving the students of the St. John Valley well. The new websites reflect both.

We want your feedback

A website is never really finished. Over the coming months we will keep adding content and improving each page. If you find a broken link, notice missing information, or have an idea that would make the site more useful, please call the VUESC office at (207) 834‑3189 or stop by 84 Pleasant Street in Fort Kent.
