Snow Day — Friday, April 3, 2026 - All Valley Unified Education Service Center Schools

Dear VUESC Families, Staff, and Students,

After closely monitoring the forecast for tomorrow, we have made the decision to cancel school on Friday, April 3, 2026. With significant snowfall, freezing rain, and sleet all expected to move through our area overnight and into the day, we believe this is the safest choice for our entire community.

This is our first snow day of the school year — and it is a true, old-fashioned one at that. There will be no remote learning tomorrow. We encourage everyone to unplug, stay warm, and enjoy the day.

A few things to keep in mind:

The roads are expected to be slippery and hazardous, particularly in the early morning hours. We ask that everyone avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve. Please check in on your neighbors, especially the elderly and those who may need extra help.

Regarding a make-up day: We will communicate any scheduling updates as information becomes available. Please watch for future announcements from VUESC.

We know that weather-related closures can require last-minute adjustments for families and staff, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding. The safety of our students and staff will always be our top priority.

Stay safe, stay warm, and enjoy the snow day!

Warmly,

Benjamin Sirois

Valley Unified Education Service Center
