The second of three SAD27 Elementary School Christmas concerts took place today at the University of Maine at Fort Kent's gymnasium. Students attending Fort Kent Elementary from grades pre-k to six put on a fantastic show featuring music from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
The Grinch himself was in attendance, and despite his efforts to ruin the Christmas concert, the show went on, and the children performed beautifully. The highlight of the show featured the FKES chorus students singing, "Don't Save it All for Christmas Day", where every FKES sang the final chorus of the song. It was during this song that the Grinch changed his ways, and saw the true meaning of Christmas.
The students looked fantastic and demonstrated outstanding behavior throughout the show. Great job goes out to all the staff at FKES for making this day happen, especially SAD27 music teacher Samantha Boutot!
