Dear Valley Rivers Middle School Parents,
We are sharing some facts about an accident that occurred during the VRMS Wellness Day this morning at Lonesome Pine Trails.
A VRMS student had a skiing accident this morning while attending the VRMS Wellness Day at Lonesome Pines.
The student is currently being cared for at Northern Maine Medical Center.
The student’s family has been notified.
No official reports have been given in regards to current condition or prognosis.
All VRMS students have been returned to school.
Many VRMS students are concerned about their classmates and are emotional during this time.
We have several school counselors stationed at the school to see anyone needing emotional assistance.
If you would like your child(ren) dismissed, please contact the school.
Our offices are currently overwhelmed with phone calls, so we ask that you be patient in the process.
Once we have more information, we will share that information with you at that time. We ask that you keep this student and his family in your thoughts during this time.
