Regional Pilot School Applications to be Scored Again

We have just received notice that the Commissioner of Education has made the determination to have the Part 2 application for the Consolidated 9-16 Educational Facility Project completely re-scored by a new review panel.  This determination has been made due to an appeal filed by the AOS 94/SAD46 region.  The new panel will be made up of different representatives than those involved with the first scoring of the applications.  Only those materials submitted by December 29, 2017 will be allowed for scoring, and none of the finalists will be allowed to provide additional information. The Part 1 point totals will remain the same and will be combined with the new Part 2 totals.

We have reached out to the Commissioner’s office to find out when the new review panel will be formed, and what the new timeline is for a final score, but we have yet to receive a response.

The next meeting of the State Board of Education is set for June 13, 2018.  Hopefully the final priority list will be on that agenda.
