MSAD27 Names Nadeau as new FKES Principal

During the regular school board meeting on Monday, May 7, 2018, the Maine School Administrative District No. 27 Board of Directors unanimously accepted the nomination of Robby Nadeau as the new Principal for Fort Kent Elementary School effective on July 1, 2018.

Nadeau is in his 10th year in education, most currently as US History teacher at CHS, and has just completed his Masters in Educational Leadership at the University of Farmington.  He will replace long time principal Mr. Gary Stevens, who announced in March his plans to retire on June 30, 2018 after 25 years as principal at FKES.   The CHS social studies department will make some in-house  adjustments to fill Nadeau's teaching responsibilities by moving VRMS social studies teacher Mr. Vincent Malinauskas up to CHS, and a new social studies teaching position has been posted at VRMS to fill the new vacancy.

As the Principal of Fort Kent Elementary, Mr. Nadeau will work closely with Vice Principal Paul Michaud, focusing on district goals and initiatives as well as setting school-wide goals aligned to the Vision of MSAD27.
