As many of you know, the regional school districts of MSAD27, Madawaska Schools, and MSAD33 submitted the Part 2 application on December 29 as one of 3 finalists in the State for the new Pilot 9-16 High School. Since then, we have had many staff and community members wondering when we are going to hear something from the Department of Education and who will be awarded the new school. We have recently found out that an initial announcement will be made on Wednesday, February 14, when the State Board of Education receives the final list of applicant point totals.
