Happy New Year to the SAD27 communities and schools! We are excited to get back in the swing of things as we enter the long winter stretch of the school year. Now that school is officially back in session, we can focus on preparing our students, as the months of January - March are some of the best teaching and learning months of the year!
Ski and basketball seasons are fully underway for both Valley Rivers Middle School and Community High School. Our teams have been working hard and performing at a high level while competing with some of the best athletic programs in Aroostook County. Many of our middle school skiers have also been participating in the Valley Racing Ski Team sponsored by the Lonesome Pine Trails Jr. Ski Program.
As we enter the new year, SAD27 would like to remind and encourage all the citizens of Eagle Lake, Fort Kent, Wallagrass, New Canada, St. John, and St. Francis to attend school activities including, but not limited to sporting events, school concerts, school board meetings, and fundraising events. Please be sure to check our district event calendar at www.sad27.org on a regular basis for up-to-date event dates and times!
