SAD27 is encouraging all citizens to go out and vote on Tuesday, November 3 on the 4th budget referendum of the 2015-2016 school year budget. Please keep the following facts in mind:
Fact 1: This budget is $507,571 lower than last year's approved budget.
Fact 2: This budget is places SAD27 @ 6.5% the EPS. 188 other districts across Maine are over EPS by an average of 30%.
Fact 3: This budget reflects cuts in non-teaching staff positions.
It's time to move on, and begin the budget process for 2016-2017.
