Spaghetti Supper and Silent Auction brings in more than $15,000 for the Curtis Levesque Memorial Scholarship Fund!

On March 2nd, the Valley Unified School districts hosted a Spaghetti Supper and Silent auction at Madawaska Middle/High School for the Curtis Levesque Memorial Scholarship.  An amazing total of $15,216.53 was raised during this event ensuring that the Curtis Levesque Memorial Scholarship fund will have available funds for years to come.

Thank you to the Valley Unified kitchen staff for your hard work in preparing for this meal.  Thank you also to all those who donated items to be auctioned off for the evening.  Finally, thank you to all who attended the event!

Combined with private donations, the scholarship currently has $17,941.53.  It has been determined that a $1,500 scholarship will be given each year to a deserving student that attends the St. John Valley Technology Center and is extending their education at a post-secondary institution.
