Friday, February 3, 2023 - Remote Snow Day

Here we go again!

Due to a very concerning forecast for Friday, with windchill warnings as low as 55 to 60 below zero and blowing snow that can cause whiteout conditions and drifting snow, we will err on the side of caution and utilize our Remote Snow Day Framework for the second time in as many weeks.

We understand that remote learning days are no substitute for in person learning, but with our combined Valley Unified attendance rates being over 90% with our last Remote Snow Day, we are pleased at the level of student engagement and participation.

Thank you to all the parents and guardians for making this work!  We appreciate your efforts more than you know!

Please note that all PreK-6 children will receive a school meal when they leave school tomorrow for Friday. (Please examine the meals carefully if your child has food allergies.)  All 7-12 students will get surveyed by their period 1 teacher to see who would like to take a school meal home.  There will be no parent surveys.

Let's hope for mild weather moving forward!
